Jason Cunningham's hot run of form came to a brutal end at the hands of former world champion Zolani Tete, as Tete detonated a brutal shot to stop him in four rounds.
Tete started strong, dominating Cunningham for three rounds, with Cunningham not offering much offence. In the fourth round, Tete found a breakthrough as he dropped Cunningham hard. Tete went on and backed Cunningham up against the ropes, unloading a flurry of combinations. Cunningham got himself off the ropes, but Tete continued the pressure which resulted in Tete landing a peach of left hand to send Cunningham to the canvas, leaving the Englishman laid out on the canvas.

After a worrying few moments, Cunningham rose back to his feet to a round of applause showing that he was okay. Tete picked up his second win since losing his WBO bantamweight title in 2019, as he looks to move back into world title contention.
