If you're anything like me, I often wonder what is said between two fighters after the final bell has rung. Whether there be tension, or deep in embrace after having slugged it out for a period of time.
Shortly after the he'd picked himself up and had been helped back to his corner. Deontay Wilder was a beaten man. Tyson Fury's best was more than he could handle. He sat on his stool a battered and bloody man. Now you can say what you will about Fury, but he has always shwon his class when it matters the most. As Fury went to shake the hand of the man who he had gone to war with three times. Wilder shunned his gesture.
He exited the ring quickly and was not available at the post-fight press conference. When asked, Fury claimed Wilder shunned his respect because he still harboured feelings that Fury cheated in the second fight of their trilogy.
We now have footage that shows exactly what was said in the corner last Saturday night. Fury was indeed telling the truth. But i'll let you all see for yourselves.
Clear audio of Deontay Wilder telling Tyson Fury “I don’t respect you” after The Gypsy King gives him big props. After such an emotional defeat and build-up, I can understand not shaking hands but to say that? Shame after the tremendous courage he showedpic.twitter.com/KgFyQIpFiE
