KSI has not fought since his professional debut in 2019, where he defeated fellow YouTube star Logan Paul at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The fight was broadcast by Sky Sports Box Office, and Eddie Hearn revealed that it surpassed Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz in PPV buys on their platform that year.
YouTube boxing began in 2018, with KSI at the forefront as he took on and defeated Joe Weller in a sold out Copper Box Arena in London. KSI's next bout was a draw with Logan Paul in front of a sold out crowd in Manchester Arena. The anticipation for a rematch was there, and both men turned professional which added more hype to the rematch, as they no longer had to wear head guards.
KSI is one of the most popular YouTube stars in the world, as his channel, which began as FIFA videos in 2009, now has over 15 million subscribers. KSI has branched into the music industry also, which has further boosted his profile.
No opponent or venue has been announced as of yet for his return, but expect a big one as KSI brings big numbers where ever he goes.
