Britain's Joe Joyce continues his rise to world title contention as he dropped Christian Hammer four times in their bout at Wembley Arena.
Joyce was meant to face Joseph Parker, but contractual complications put a stop to that bout, so Hammer would step in as his opponent.
Hammer actually started off withe upper hand, as he produced a fantastic first round, catching Joyce flush multiple times. Joyce grew into the fight into the second round. But it was in the third round where Joyce made the breakthrough as he dropped Hammer on the bell, although Hammer complained the blow was to the back of his head.
Joyce would continue his form into the fourth round as he would drop Hammer. Joyce would continue to break Hammer down, relentlessly pressuring his man, dropping Hammer a further two times prompting the ref to stop the fight.
