Janibek asserted his dominated early on as he sent Dignum crashing to the canvas in the first round. Janibek's quality shined through again in the second round, as he unleashed a violent uppercut following a flurry of punches, rendering Dignum unable to continue.

The Kazakh power puncher reminded everyone why he is avoided in the division, and continues to put the middleweight division on notice. Now with the WBO 'interim' title to hand, and speculation of current WBO champion Demetrius Andrade moving up in weight, we could see Janibek elevated to world champion very soon.
