Gervonta Davis earned yet another highlight reel knockout as he retained his WBA lightweight title with a sixth round stoppage win over Rolly Romero.
The two fighters went head to head at a sold out Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on an event that was broadcast live on Showtime PPV, with Davis shining once again.

It had been a competitive fight between the two men as it entered the sixth round, but Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) showed once again just why his huge power is the difference.
He dropped Romero (14-1, 12 KOs) with a massive counter left hand, and while he managed to get back to his feet, the referee waved off the fight, as Davis became the first man to defeat Romero.
