Florian Marku would overcome a heavy knockdown to win in his first bout in his home country as he defeated Miguel Parra by unanimous decision to win the WBC Silver 'interim' title at the Air Albania Stadium.
It was a scrappy affair, as both men threw shots from range. Round four would see a breakthrough for Marku, although controversial, Parra would hit the canvas in what looked like a push but was ruled a knockdown in the Albanian King's favour. Parra tried to counter-act this, leading to the pair getting up close, resulting in a cut over Marku's eye.

Rounds ticked by and it would be in round seven when Marku would swing the bout further into his favour, A vicious left hook from the Albanian would open a cut over Parra's right eye. The pair would get up close again and Parra would look to use his forearm to create a gap to throw a shot. The referee saw that and controversially deducted a point from Parra.
Round eight saw Parra go for broke and find huge success. Parra would march Marku down before detonating a massive shot, sending Marku to the canvas infront of his home crowd, Marku would rise to his feet and survive the round.
