Dmitry Bivol caused a major upset as he defeated pound-for-pound king, Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez on points in Las Vegas.
All three judges at ringside scored the bout the same, 115-113 in favour of Bivol, which saw the Russian remain undefeated, improving his professional record to 20-0 and retain his WBA Light-Heavyweight world title.

It was Canelo's second defeat of his professional career, after he lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2013, and it also saw an eight fight win streak come to an end which he had accumulated since drawing with Gennady Golovkin in 2017.
Talks of a trilogy with Golovkin are put on hold for now, with attentions turning to a rematch between Canelo and Bivol.
Speaking in his post fight interview, Canelo confirmed that he wants to run the fight back, saying: "Of course I want the rematch. This doesn't end here", with Dmitry Bivol happy for a second bout, saying: "No problem! I want respect as the Champion".

If they do get the rematch on, who do you think wins?
