Derek Chisora avenged his loss to Kubrat Pulev six years ago, as he defeats the Bulgarian by split decision in a thrilling bout.
The bout began at a rapid pace in Chisora's favour, as he would land multiple body shots. However, Pulev would adapt by round three and began enjoying success, and by round five it had seemed the momentum was swinging in Pulev's favour.

Rounds ticked on by, and Pulev received a nasty looking cut over his eye. Round seven seen another shift in momentum, as Chisora landed a big right hand in latter stages of the round. However, Chisora would be rocked by an uppercut in the next round, with Pulev showing that the bout was far from over.

The final rounds were close, and it was clear to see that both men had emptied their tanks in attempt to stop one and other.

The bell rang at the end of the 12th as the bout went to the judges scorecards. They read 116-112 for Pulev, and 116-112 and 116-114 in favour of Chisora after a brutal 12 rounds.
