Alen Babic in his tenth professional fight tonight was given a tough test tonight, against a very tough David Spilmont. Before tonight, the furthest Babic has been taken was the fifth round against Mark Bennett in August of this year.
Babic survived a scare at the end of the second round after a flurry of shots by Spilmont and Babic needed the ropes to keep him standing.

In the fourth round, Babic knocked down Spilmont and then in the sixth round, he was knocked down again and the referee stopped the fight.

Tonight Babic got hit with a lot of shots, and with him previously calling out Filip Hrgovic, if he got caught by 'El Animal' it would be lights out for Babic and a first loss would be on the cards.
