Former world champion Adrien Broner is in the headlines once again, this time due to being involved in a scuffle in the gym with social media influencer Queenzflip, ahead of a possibe return to boxing this year.
Broner has not fought since he unanimously defeated Jovanie Santiago in February 2021, but has indicated that he has a desire to return to the boxing ring this year.
Over the last year, social media images of Broner surfaced where it was clearly visible that he had ballooned up and gained weight, leading to speculation of his boxing career being over. Broner also occurred spells in hospital and lawsuits throughout his rollercoaster of a year in 2021.

Broner has silenced critics as he whipped himself back into fighting shape posting motivational video's on his Instagram, regularly using the hashtag #WorkOrDie.
One name being spoken to very close to Broner's is the UK's very own Conor Benn, who is looking to climb up the welterweight ranks. This begs the question, will we see Broner vs Benn in the near future?
