Promising UK cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley continues his ascension up the domestic scene as he brutally stopped the previously undefeated Ross McGuigan.
Riley was in control of the bout but would close the show in round three with a vicious right hook against the ropes.
Riley would apply pressure early on but did seem over-eager in the first round. McGuigan left his chin in the air and look vulnerable to a big shot, whilst Riley did produce the better work in round one, McGuigan did catch him with an uppercut, but Riley would take it.
Much of the same through round two, but Riley seemed to relax and be more methodical with his work. Round three saw Riley sit down on his shots and was landing clean on McGuigan as he marched him down.
Riley continued to back McGuigan up, before throwing a combination against the ropes which ended with a huge overhand right landing clean, sending McGuigan to the canvas and ending the fight.
