Tyson Fury has threatened to slap Oleksandr Usyk should he turn up to watch him fight Derek Chisora on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The WBC heavyweight champion did not hold back in his response to Usyk calling him a ‘drunk’ in an interview with IFL TV.
“Usyk can go suck a d**k. Excuse my french. I’m not interested in a foreign little tosser. If he comes to the fight I promise you I’ll slap him in the mouth. How’s that?
“Usyk called me a drunk recently so I want to see what he’s got to say about the drink. I do drink, yes of course I do I’m a human I love having a beer who doesn’t. But I know what he likes to do in his spare time. I’m not going to say on camera.”
Despite Fury’s promises, it looks like Usyk will be in attendance on Saturday night. The Ukrainian has a keen interest in the fight as the current WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion – with only Fury’s WBC left to add to his collection. ‘The Gypsy King’ may have to live up to his previous request to have two fights in one night after all.
The boxer from Morecambe went on to claim that Usyk was offered 65 million dollars to make the undisputed fight this year.
“I think he’s a sh**house. He had his opportunity to fight for a lot of money. 65 million dollars and he didn’t take it. That’s a sh**house. Who doesn’t take a fight for 65 million dollars.”
Although the pair could not come to an agreement for a dust up in December, fans will hope to see the undisputed bout in the not so distant future, providing Fury takes the victory against Chisora.
