According to reports the fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte will now go to purse bids on January 11 unless a deal can be struck between the two parties. Tyson Fury looks set to get an 80% share of the pot for the heavyweight clash after the WBC confirmed the split for the fight. It is thought that the WBC has informed both sides of the decision on Thursday.
Tyson Fury was set to have a non title fight either against Andy Ruiz Jr in the states or a homecoming bout against Robert Helenius. It now seems that he looks set to face Dillian Whyte in the Spring. This decision means the sides will have under two weeks to agree a deal. This will come as a huge blow to Dillian Whyte who was after a 45% cut of the deal.
