Tyson Fury Faces Off With Heavyweight Rivals Usyk And Joyce Following Victory Over Chisora

Written by Jared Parry on 4th December 2022.

Tyson Fury retained his WBC heavyweight title after savagely beating down Derek Chisora in a trilogy bout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

‘The Gypsy King’ stopped Chisora in round ten as his skills overwhelmed ‘Del Boy’ for a third time, as he produced a savage beatdown forcing referee Victor Loughlin to stop the bout in round ten.

Chisora never touched down during the fight but had little success and would be dominated for a high percentage of the bout. Loughlin told the corner at the end of the ninth that Chisora had to show him something in the tenth. In the dying embers of the tenth, Loughlin had seen enough and waived the bout off, confirming Fury’s victory.

After an underwhelming bout, the action would heat up in the post-fight interview. The IBF, WBO and WBO heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, would be sat ringside, and climbed onto the ring apron as the ‘Gypsy King’ called him out for an undisputed clash in true Tyson Fury fashion.

“Usyk you’re next you little b****. You are next. Me and you next. You’re next. Rabbit! P****! 15st little midget bodybuilder. Well I ain’t a bodybuilder, I’m going to write you off.

“I already done one Ukrainian in [Wladimir] Klitschko didn’t I? And I’ll do you as well, gappy teeth.

“You ugly little man. Lets get it on b****. You may laugh now but I’ll end this little sucker. I’ll end you. You little sucker. What are you gonna do? You’re gonna do f*** all you little sausage.”

As Usyk stood there looking deep into the soul of the ‘Gypsy King,’ another heavyweight rival wanted to get in on the action, as Joe Joyce appeared and through his name into the hat for a clash with Fury. The ‘Gypsy King’ responded by indicating that Usyk is his main priority but wouldn’t rule a clash with Joyce at Wembley out.

Fury still holds one of the main pieces of gold in the heavyweight division, and an undisputed collision with Usyk is what all the fans are keen to see.
