Tyson Fury won a bet with promoter Frank Warren and has opted to donate the £10,000 winnings to charity.
At the launch press conference for the WBC world heavyweight champion’s trilogy bout with Derek Chisora, Fury would reveal that he had won a bet with his promoter, Frank Warren. The pair had a £10,000 wager on over whether Fury would actually face former unified world champion, Anthony Joshua.
The ‘Gypsy King’ was adamant that the fight negotiations with Joshua would collapse, however, Warren was confident that they would come off. The fight collapsed, hence why Fury is now facing Chisora. The ‘Gypsy King’ would flaunt the £10,000 in cash at today’s press conference.
