The undercard features three Team GB Olympians. The most decorated of those names is the woman who brought gold home from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Lauren Price. The Welsh superstar made her debut in the professional ranks in June and would show off her flashy style and supreme boxing skills as she coasted to a shutout victory. Price will step into the ring for a second time as a pro this Saturday and will look to implement her class against Timea Belik.
The next Olympian to step in the ring this Saturday is the partner of Price, Kariss Artingstall. Artingstall also made her professional debut in June and also produced a fantastic display as she coasted to victory. Artingstall now moves on to her second bout as she faces Marina Sakharov.
The final Olympic presence on the card is Caroline Dubois. Dubois turned pro and made her debut in February and has already chalked up three victories in the pro game, with two of the victories coming by stoppage. Dubois will look to impress again on the big stage when she faces Milena Koleva this Saturday.
Ebonie Jones looks to continue her journey through the pro game this weekend as she returns to the ring for the fourth time. Jones was held to a draw in her second fight but silenced any doubters last time out with an impressive performance and will be looking to do the same this weekend when she faces Vanesa Caballero. April Hunter is a close friend of Savannah Marshall and returns for her seventh pro fight on the undercard. Hunter will be looking to pick up a win for the North East this Saturday as she squares off with Erica Juana Gabriela Alvarez.
Amateur star Ginny Fuchs is travelling over from the US to fight on the card, as she looks to move to 2-0 when she locks horns with Gemma Ruegg. Sarah Liegmann is also travelling from overseas to compete, as the German prospect will look to move to 4-0 when she takes on Bec Connolly. Anthony Joshua managed star, Shannon Ryan will be out to impress again, as she steps into the ring for the third time when she daces Buchra El Quaissi. Completing the line-up, Georgia O'Connor returns to the ring on the biggest stage yet of her young career as she looks to move to 3-0.
A fine display of female prospects makes up a stacked bill in London headlined by Shields vs Marshall at the O2, with a chief support fight worthy of headlining any card in Mayer vs Baumgardner. The action can be watched live on Sky Sports this Saturday and it is an event that should not be missed.
