IBF, WBA and WBC middleweight champion Claressa Shields and WBO champion Savannah Marshall weighed in and embroiled in a stare-down for the hugely anticipated clash tomorrow night.
Both women are in tremendous shape as they both tipped the scales at identical weights of 11st 5lbs 5oz. The champions went on to face off and would share an ice-cold face-off before they meet in the ring.

Both fighters come into this bout at 12-0 as professionals. Shields has only ever lost in the squared circle and that would be in the amateurs and that defeat came at the hands of Marshall back in 2012. The rivalry has brewed since that day and comes to a head this Saturday.
Shields and Marshall were set to square off on September 10th, but during fight week, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sadly passed away and the bout was postponed out of respect. Queen Elizabeth II will be honoured in this bout as the WBC has put the Elizabethan belt on the line, a belt to commemorate Her Majesty.
