Liam Paro blasted Brock Jarvis out in one round to move closer to a world title shot and retain the WBO Global super lightweight title.
A vicious left hook late in the first round from Paro saw Jarvis crash to the canvas and unable to beat the count in the main event of Matchroom Boxing’s first show in Australia.
A lot of hype surrounded this all-Australian clash between two undefeated fighters. It was a quick start from both men, but Paro seemed to implement his southpaw style early on. The pair were teasing trade-offs throughout the first round, and they would engage in one at the end of round one. Jarvis, who came into the bout with the higher knockout percentage of the two men looked to implement his power but would come off second best as Paro would land eye-catching shots and finish the fight with a perfectly timed left hook.
UNBELIEVABLE 🤯

Jarvis attempted to rise to his feet but couldn’t, declaring Paro the victor. Paro now moves to 23-0 and is highly ranked in the governing bodies, ultimately being ranked No. 2 in the WBO.
