It's not been a great week for YouTubers turned boxers, KSI and Jake Paul. Both men had fights fights fall through, leading to them trading verbals on Twitter, resulting in KSI offering to fight Paul at Wembley Stadium next year.
Paul was set to headline Madison Square Garden last Saturday in what people believed would be his toughest test yet in a boxing ring, as he was pencilled in to fight Hasim Rahman Jr. However, a dispute regarding weight would lead to the bouts cancellation.
KSI was set to return to the boxing ring against bitter YouTube rival Alex Wassabi. The pair have been at each other's throats for a few years on social media but boiling point was reached when Wassabi beat KSI's brother Deji in the boxing ring earlier in the year. However, it was revealed over the weekend that Wassabi was out of the fight, leading to Paul calling out KSI. The pair traded tweets but it was revealed that KSI will now be facing the rapper Swarmz at the O2 Arena on August 27th.
KSI has previously beaten Paul's brother, Logan in the past and has now gone on to offer Paul the fight at Wembley next year.
I’m gonna send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100% of the purse will be on the line.
Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this.
Will you accept?@jakepaul
