Following his son’s exhibition fight with Rolly Lambert for which Jake Paul was on commentary, John Fury challenged the young American to a fight.
Tommy Fury’s last-minute change of opponent clearly took its toll on the event in which he was co-headlining. The exhibition was less than impressive, with not much at all happening over the six, two-minute rounds.
As the crowd booed, their feelings were perhaps summed up by Jake Paul, who poked fun at every aspect of the bout, including Fury’s skill. He laughed at the idea that the man in the ring could come anywhere close to matching him in skill.
“Forget my son. I’m the King of the Bareknuckle Men. I can fight Mike Tyson to the death.”

The half-disrobed Fury continue to shadow box and flex his muscles. In response, Jake Paul called him a fat, miserable, old man and continued to taunt his son.
Tommy then took the microphone to have his own shot at demanding Paul enter the ring. The 6-0 American didn’t oblige that time either.

The pair, whose two scheduled fights have fallen victim to injuries and travel issues on Fury’s side, may now enter negotiations to fight. If Paul’s commentary is to believed, he thinks it will be a pretty quick night. As for Fury, he stands by his analysis that his potential opponent can’t fight.
