Steve Robinson (5-1) takes on Scottish heavyweight champion Nick Campbell (5-0) tomorrow night in Bournemouth, and there were some shenanigans when the pair weighed in today.
The heavyweights took to the scales ahead of tomorrow’s clash. Robinson stepped up to tip the scales at 17st 2lbs, 1st 7lbs lighter than his Scottish opponent, as Campbell came in at 18st 8lbs.
Campbell came off the scales to put his tracksuit bottoms back on, before coming face-to-face with Robinson for a traditional face-off. The Scotsman would await Robinson, and as Robinson stood in front of his opponent, he would reach forward and pull the Scottish heavyweight champion’s trousers down.
Campbell saw the funny side of Robinson’s antics, as he laughed it off before engaging in a face-off which ended with a respectful handshake between the pair.

Robinson spoke afterward, where he told Campbell that the fight won’t go the distance.
“Definitely isn’t going eight rounds, See you tomorrow.”
Campbell replied saying that he is ready for tomorrow night.
“I’ve trained very hard, I’m ready,
“I’m ready for a battle on Saturday night.”
These two meet on the undercard of Chris Billam-Smith’s return to his hometown of Bournemouth, as he tops the bill against Armend Xhoxhaj. The chief support of the night sees Dan Azeez fight Rocky Fielding. Azeez’s British title and the vacant Commonwealth light heavyweight title was set to be on the line, however, Fielding would come in 1lb over the light heavyweight limit.
The action will be broadcast live from the Bournemouth International Centre tomorrow night on Sky Sports from 7 pm.
