In a series of now-deleted tweets, Gervonta Davis has leaked an email appearing to be from Eddie Hearn, as well as publicly calling out the promoter for his handling of the Conor Benn doping scandal.
Davis, who looks to have cut ties with Mayweather promotions, took to Twitter to share an offer from Hearn to stage a fight with Ryan Garcia. He posted a screen shot of an email that included brief details of a $10 million plus payday.
Dear Gervonta,
Further to our messages confirming you are no longer under promotional contract, we would like to make you the following offer for your next fight:
v Ryan Garcia in February/March 2023 on DAZN
PPV.
Guaranteed purse of US$10 million.
PPV bonus to be agreed.
Look forward to hearing from you. As I said, I am in Cleveland this week and would be happy to fly you out to discuss face to face. Thanks, Eddie

Despite what many see as a handsome offer, Davis claimed that he was already making that and more. Regardless of the money on the table, it seems that ‘Tank’ – who is due to fight Garcia in April 2023 – isn’t a fan of Hearn’s.

The undefeated fighter from Baltimore questioned the British promoter’s standing in the sport twice following his fighter, Benn, testing positive for a banned substance in the lead up to his now-postponed fight with Chris Eubank Jr.
“And why they didn’t [ban] Eddie for still trying to have fights after he knew a [fighter] was cheating and still try to continue with the boxing match?”
All tweets have been deleted, but not before they could be seen and recorded. ‘Tank’s promotional situation is up in the air, but still seemingly remains tied to Al Haymon’s PBC.
Hearn is yet to respond to the sharing of the email, although has made it clear in the past that he would be keen to work with Davis.
