Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith are set to headline the huge Boxxer pay-per-view card on January 21 and the clash of personalities is making for some great content outside of the ring.
As expected with Eubank, he has been engaging in pre-fight trash talk, targeting Smith’s grey hair saying he looked ’50’ years old.
In a clip of the upcoming “The Gloves Are Off” show on Sky Sports, Eubank said:
βYou’re 34? You look about 50! At least.
Whatever you have been eating and drinking, just chill out with that, It’s not working for you mate.β

However, Smith took to social media to fire back with a tweet referencing Eubank’s hairline and beard from seven years ago.
βLetβs not forget soft s***e, you looked about 50 when you was 26 with that daft hair line. Before your trip to turkey.
Thats before we mention the beard.β

Eubank is used to being the villain, so it’s no surprise that fans on social media were in hysterics at Smith’s repsonse.
Inside the ropes, both fighters are eager to make a run for a world title, and a victory over a big name opponent like the other could significantly boost their chances.
Eubank, who has previously challenged for a world title but was defeated by George Groves, is considered the favourite with the bookies, but most are calling the fight a 50/50.
The fight will be held at the Manchester Arena and will be broadcasted live on Sky Sports PPV for Β£19.95.
Although fans showed some frustration at yet another PPV event, the undercard, which features Joseph Parker, Richard Riakporhe and Frazer Clarke has gone a long way to justify that decision.
