The 50/50 domestic clash between Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith headlines the AO Arena in Manchester, but there are fights that carry high stakes on the undercard.
The undercard is made up of six fights, and they range from fighters who are on the cusp of world titles, British title fights, and prospects looking to further their journeys in the professional ranks.
The chief support sees Richard Riakporhe (15-0) look to close in on a world title shot as he challenges former world champion, Krzystof Glowacki (32-3). Riakporhe returns for the first since July when he delivered a vicious body shot to stop Fabio Turchi in the second round back in July. The last time Glowacki fought in the UK, he was stopped in round six by Lawrence Okolie when they collided for the vacant WBO title. However, Glowacki has since bounced back with a fourth-round TKO victory over Francisco Rivas Ruiz.
WBO Champion Okolie looks set to be fighting on Sky Sports next, and a win for Riakporhe here could potentially set up an all-British world title fight.
A fight that should not be slept on this weekend is the welterweight clash between British and Commonwealth champion Ekow Essuman (18-0) and Chris Kongo (14-1). The undefeated Essuman defends his titles for the fourth time and returns to the venue of his latest defence that came against Samuel Antwi in August. Kongo continues his rebuild since his only defeat back to Michael McKinson in 2020. A career-best victory came last time out, as Kongo convincingly defeated Sebastian Formella.
Joseph Parker (30-3) returns and looks to bounce back from defeat last time out as he takes on Jack Massey (20-1). Parker was stopped in a thriller with Joe Joyce last time out, but the former world champion is still a danger in the division. Massey is the IBO cruiserweight champion but steps up to heavyweight to face Parker in an intriguing clash.
Olympic Bronze medallist Frazer Clarke (4-0) looks to continue his ascension up the heavyweight ranks. After an impressive display against Kamil Sokolowski, Clarke now turns his attention to Kevin Espindola (7-6). Espindola has never been stopped, so it would be an impressive move from Clarke to pull off a stoppage.
Exciting heavyweight prospect Matty Harris (4-0) looks to add another victory to his resume as he squares off with Jiri Surmaj (3-2). Finally, rising cruiserweight Scott Forrest (3-0) looks to make it four wins on the spin when he takes on Amine Boucetta (7-5).
This absolutely stacked seven-fight card, headlined by Eubank Jr and Smith goes down this Saturday and emanates from the AO Arena in Manchester and can be watched live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and DAZN elsewhere.
