Errol Spence Jr was in a serious car accident on Saturday just hours before his rival, Terence Crawford, defeated David Avanesyan with a brutal knockout.
Spence Jr took to Instagram to report the car accident he found himself in earlier on Saturday, three years on from the life-threatening crash that put doubts on his career in boxing.
Thankfully not as bad as the one in 2019, Spence Jr was able to walk away and began an Instagram live to show his fans the damage that had been done, as he explained what had happened.
“He ran the light. F*** my whole s*** up. The mother f***** hit me … f***ed my leg up. It’s crazy. He ran the light. Always happen to me. I’ve seen him coming too. He ran right into me.”
“I seen him coming, going fast as hell. He hit me head-on. My car is all metal, heavy as hell. I’m just glad I didn’t have my kids in there with me. I ain’t worried about no damn car, shoot.”

Fans also overheard in the video that the other driver was 14 and did not hold a license, however this has not been confirmed yet. It is expected that ‘The Truth’ will provide an update soon as to any injuries suffered.
His rival, Terence Crawford, won his battle with the tough Russian, David Avanesyan, as he produced a spectacular knockout to retain WBO World Welterweight champion.
‘Bud’ announced after the fight that he is still interested in an undisputed clash with Errol Spence Jr, who holds the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles.
Fans will hold on to hopes that they could see the long-awaited match up soon, providing Spence Jr was lucky enough to walk away from the accident without any serious injuries.
