IBF world flyweight champion Sunny Edwards (18-0) will defend his title next Friday against Felix Alvardo (38-2) in Sheffield and the bout has just become available on free-to-air in the UK.
Edwards and Alvarado collide at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield. The bout is being promoted by Probellum, who currently don’t have a long-term broadcast deal in the UK. However, Probellum put on a card in Liverpool on October 15th which was headlined by Peter McGrail, and that was available to watch for free on the Fite TV app.
Fite TV have confirmed that they will also be showing the world title clash between Edwards and Alvarado next Friday on their app, and it will be free-to-air in the UK.
This will be Edwards’ third defence of the belt that he won from Moruti Mthalane back in 2021. Alvarado has tasted world title glory in the past as he has previously held the IBF light flyweight title but now looks to step up to flyweight in an attempt to dethrone the Brit.
