Liam Davies (12-0) looks to pick up the vacant European super bantamweight title tomorrow night when he faces the dangerous Ionut Baluta (15-3) tomorrow night in Telford.
Davies and Baluta weighed in today ahead of their European title clash with the local man coming in at 120.7lbs and his Romanian counterpart tipping the scales at 121.4lbs.
The pair then came face-to-face for the final time before they lock horns in the ring tomorrow and it was a fiery affair.
Both men got up close and traded verbals, before Davies moved his head in towards Baluta’s, sparking security to split the pair.

Davies comes into this bout off the back of winning the British title from Marc Leach last time out and now looks to climb to the next step towards a world title, fighting at European level for the first time.
Baluta is partial to causing an upset, as he holds shock victories over David Oliver Joyce and TJ Doheny. The last time we saw the Romanian upset machine in the ring, he shocked a returning Brad Foster and would defeat the Brit on points.
This European title clash tops a packed card in Telford, which also sees Anthony Yarde look for a win to secure a shot at a world title next. The fight will be broadcast live on BT Sport from 7 pm on Saturday night and can be watched live in the US on ESPN+.
