Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams have gone back and forth with each other for over a year now via social media and on February 5th we will finally see who can back up the talk. The pair came face to face at a fiery press conference and even though there has been a slight delay to the fight, it should be one that doesn't disappoint.
Chris Eubank Jrs last outing came in October where he secured a comfortable knockout victory over German Wanik Awdijan. Chris has now had a couple of fights with new coach and boxing icon Roy Jones Jr and the slight tweaks and adjustments that have been made have been noticeable. Chris has spent a large portion of his training camp with former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and has been looking in great shape in the gym. He will be looking to put on a statement victory which catapults him back into world title contention at the back end of 2022.
His opponent Liam Williams was last seen going for glory against the much avoided Demetrius Andrade for the WBO middleweight title. Sadly for him he came up short and lost to the better man on the night. Following the fight, he has moved from the Ingle Gym and has set up camp with Adam Booth and his talented stable of fighters. He will be on a mission to prove he can mix it at the top table in the middleweight division.
The betting favourite coming into the fight is Chris Eubank Jr but with the home support of an army of Welsh fans, Liam will be hoping they can spur him on to victory come fight night.
