Just shy of the 29th anniversary of their father's historic bout at Old Trafford, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn collide in a massive bout on October 8th at the O2 Arena.
The fight is billed as 'Born Rivals' due to the bitter rivalry between there fathers, Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn, in the 90's has boiled over into this generation.
Eubank Jr. has been fighting at world level for a few years now, even holding the IBO world title on two occasions. On the other hand, Benn has been working his way through the ranks and looks to continue the upward trajectory of his career. An interesting detail in the fight is that it will be contested at a catch weight, which sees Eubank Jr. move down in weight but Benn do the opposite and move up in weight.
Last time out, Eubank Jr. travelled into the lions den to take on and break down tough Welshman Liam Williams in Cardiff in February. Benn put on a demolition job in his last outing, brutally dispatching Chris Van Heerden in two rounds in April.
Eubank Jr. and Benn meet at the O2 Arena on October 8th and the fight promises to have an exciting build-up and the styles of the fighters should gel to make a thrilling fight. The fight will be available to watch live on DAZN PPV and is one not to be missed.
