In recent weeks, their has been many reports emerging that Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will square off in a bout on October 8th at the O2 Arena in London, almost 29 years on since their fathers battled to a draw at Old Trafford.
No official announcement has come yet regarding the bout, but things became a lot clearer today on whether their is substance in the rumours. YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul responded to a tweet regarding the potential rehydration clause in the Eubank Jr. Vs Benn fight. Eubank Jr's response involved him calling out Paul, but seemingly confirmed the mega fight between him and Benn as he tweeted: "Yo @jakepaul once I deal with Benn & you take care of Rahman how about me & you go a couple rounds. I’ll come in at 160 you come in at whatever weight you want… Winner gets CANELO ???? & don’t worry I ain’t no Tommy Fury… if I say ima do something, it gets done."

IntuBoxing produced a graphic regarding this tweet, tagging all relevant parties. This led to none other than Conor Benn himself responding to IntuBoxing's graphic on Instagram with a message to Eubank Jr: "If that's what he thinks he's in for the shock of his life!"
If rumours are to be believed, Eubank Jr. and Benn look set to square off at the O2 Arena in London on October 8th, in a bout for the legacy of these two legendary families.
