Zach Parker's shot at Demetrius Andrade at Parker's beloved Pride Park has unfortunately been postponed as Andrade has unfortunately sustained a shoulder injury.
Rumours circulated about this last night, however, Queensberry Promotions confirmed the fate of the bout this afternoon.
Full statement from Queensberry Promotions reads:
"Queensberry Promotions have today been informed that Demetrius Andrade has sustained a
shoulder injury which has forced him to withdraw from his scheduled interim WB0 World
super- middleweight title fight with Zach Parker at Pride Park, Derby on 21st May.
It is with great regret that the decision has been made to postone the event until the extent of
the injury is fully established. A further update will be released in the coming days with a revised
fight date and information for ticket buyers."
