Seven months have passed since the first fight between Joseph Parker and Derek Chisora, seven months of both men chomping at the bit to put the record straight. The first fight ended in a split decision victory for Joseph Parker behind closed doors in Manchester but tonight was a different atmosphere due to a sold out crowd in the same arena.
And this fight did not disappoint the fight fans both in the arena and watching on DAZN.

Joseph Parker started the fight in blistering fashion landing heavy shots at will, but when Chisora was rocked he threw some bombs himself. Both men know they can hurt each other but this fight that you did not wish to take your eyes off as anything, and i mean anything could land at any time.

The fourth round though was more of the same story, and Joseph Parker landed fully which rocked Derek Chisora in which only the ropes kept him up, which led the referee to do a standing eight count on the challenger. This seemed to wake Chisora up and finished the round in spectacular fashion.

The middle rounds, even though both men landed jabs and hooks, the pace dramatically dropped as both men were feeling the pace hard. Rounds five and six were rounds where both have regrouped and wanted to regain some strength moving forward.
Chisora down again in the seventh! Midway through round seven and Joseph Parker landed a perfect uppercut and Chisora hit the canvas. Chisora got up and just like the fourth round finished the round the better man and dug deep swinging clubbing blows. Chisora being counted again in the eigth! Just like the fourth round the ropes kept Chisora on his feet and takes the standing eight count at the end of the round. You feel that this is just a matter of time before the referee steps in to finish this contest.

Derek Chisora does not get involved in dull fights. Both against Dillian Whyte were wars and both fights against Joseph Parker have been wars. Parker gets the decision, after the three knockdowns throughout the fight. The scorecards read 115-110 115-111- 114-112
