Ricky Reeves
Ricky Reeves is a 2-0 cruiserweight who fights out of Sheffield. Reeves picked up a third round knockout in his pro debut in 2021, and cruised to a points decision in his second bout against the veteran Darryl Sharp. Reeves could catapult his name into the limelight this weekend if he produces a good showing in the BOXXER Series.
Sheldon McDonald
Like Reeves, Sheldon McDonald also fights out of Sheffield. McDonald boasts a 3-0 record. McDonald has one knockout on his record and that came in his second bout against Daniel Borisov. McDonald also defeated Darryl Sharp in his last fight on points. McDonald will look to become a household name this weekend on Sky Sports.
Anees Taj
Anees Taj enters the BOXXER Series coming off the back of a loss in his last fight. Taj fights out of Watford and holds a record of 5-1. Taj has knocked out three of his six opponents but slipped up to Adrian Valentin on points last time out. Taj will be looking to reignite his rise towards stardom with a big performance this weekend.
Ryan Cotterell
Walsall's Ryan Cotterell has the least experience in the professional ranks. Cotterell has only had one pro fight and he knocked out Dave Preston in one round. Cotterell will be looking to show that hes a special talent this weekend in Manchester.
Jamie Smith
Jamie Smith of Amersham comes in to the BOXXER Series with a 67% knockout record as he has knocked out two of his three opponents. His first fight was a comfortable points victory before going on a two fight knockout streak. Smith will be looking to continue that streak this weekend.
Ellis Zorro
Bromley's Ellis Zorro is one of the most expreienced fighters in the tournament as he boasts an 11-0 record. Zorro has scored six knockouts, and has looked very comfortable in all his bouts. Zorro could finally get his big break this weekend as he looks to showcase his talent on Sky Sports.
Jack Fay
Jack Fay of Darwen will be looking to put the draw in his last fight in the rear view mirror with a big performance this weekend. Fay is 2-0, and cruised to victory in his debut. However, Fay was held to a draw last time out.
Jay Farrell
Like Zorro, Liverpools Jay Farrell has also had 11 bouts but hasn't got a 100% win record as he holds a 9-2 record. Farrell went to 7-0 before getting knocked out by Kent Kauppinen in one round. Farrell bounced back and got into title contention in his tenth bout, but was stopped in two rounds against Damian Chambers in a challenge for a Central Area title. Farrell looks to bounce back and put his career back on track in the BOXXER Series this weekend.
