Boxing Social presents Fight Night Live from the Glasgow Boxing Centre on Friday, April 14th.
Scotland has produced some fine talents in boxing such as former undisputed lightweight champion Ken Buchanan, three-division world champion Ricky Burns and former undisputed super-lightweight champion Josh Taylor, who will be in attendance to commentate on the event, to name a few, and Boxing Social look to uncover the next star to come from Scotland.
The card is packed with talent from top to bottom, and there’s no better place to start than the heavyweight division. Nick Campbell (5-1) is looking for redemption after suffering his first defeat as a professional last time out. In his five victories, Campbell has stopped each fighter he has defeated and even picked up the Scottish title in his fifth fight, stopping Jay McFarlane. Campbell has since linked up with Let’s Go Management and will be gunning to return to winning ways.
Super Middleweight puncher Boris Crighton (10-1) looks to impress in his home country. Crighton carries knockout power, stopping seven of his opponents inside the distance, most recently stopping previously undefeated Matt McCallum in the ninth round back in December.
Exciting Portugal-based-Angolan Super Welterweight Uisma Lima (9-0) returns to UK shores as part of Fight Night Live. Lima’s last trip to the UK was a short night’s work, stopping Ruben Angulo in devastating fashion within the first round in Cardiff in February.
After a five-year hiatus from the ring, Aston Brown (3-0) will look to put the middleweight division on notice in his hometown, as he returns to Glasgow on April 14th. Local Welterweight Craig MacIntyre (13-0-1) looks to continue his hot run of form and make it four wins in a row in front of his home fans.
Super Lightweight Gerard McTaggart (1-0) will look to build on the valuable rounds he banked in his professional debut, and finally, Super Middleweight Ryan Clark (0-0) makes his professional debut.
It promises to be a great night of boxing from the Glasgow Boxing Centre on April 14th as some of the best talent Scotland has to offer will be on display. Tickets are priced at £40 unreserved seating, £60 reserved seating, and £100 VIP ringside. Tickets can be purchased from the fighters directly for Fight Night Live, which is set for a great atmosphere and fantastic fights.
