The co-main event sees Manchester's Zelfa Barrett challenge Faroukh Kourbanov for the European super featherweight title. Barrett has impressed since he signed with Matchroom and has worked his way to this shot at the title. Kourbanov is a former foe of Joe Cordina. Cordina beat Kourbanov in 2021 by majority decision in a very tough fight. Since then, Kourbanov picked up the European title and will make his first defence against Barrett. A huge carrot has been dangled, as their is a high possibility that the winner of this bout could face the winner of the main event for a world title. IntuBoxing caught up with Barrett at the public workout, where he boldy claimed he will be world champion, but he's not looking past Kourbanov.
One of world Boxing's most active fighters at the moment, Skye Nicolson returns to the ring for her fourth fight within 91 days. The former Olympian faces her toughest test yet as she squares off with former world champion Gabriela Bouvier. Nicolson will be in an eight rounder for the first time, as she hurtles towards a potential world title shot soon.
Highly rated talent Dalton Smith is a late, but welcome addition to the card. Smith will be defending his WBC International Silver title against Mauro Perouene. Also, a late addition to the card is Gamal Yafai. Tafai lost his European title to Jason Cunningham last time out, and will be looking to return to winning ways as he faces Sean Cairns.
Former Team GB star Calum French steps up to eight rounds this weekend as he looks to build on his first stoppage victory last time out. French squares off with Gadatamen Taylor. Joe Morgan looks to impress on the big stage following signing with Sanigar Events. Morgan fights on the biggest platform of his career so far as he faces Rustem Fatkhullin.
Two prospects coming out of the illustrious Gary Lockett gym will also be on the biggest platform of their careers so far, as both welterweight Ben Crocker and middleweight Kyran Jones look to move to 4-0 in the Welsh capital.
Finally, Monique Bux makes her professional debut. Bux has a great story of being a well established DJ going by MoniqueB, but now she swaps the decks for the gloves this weekend ass he faces Ester Konenca. IntuBoxing caught up with Bux and she expressed her excitement to debut in her home country on the big stage.
