Broner was not impressed in the virtual press conference ahead of his next bout
Adrien Broner and Omar Figueroa Jr. came together for a virtual press conference ahead of their clash on August 20th in Florida. However, Broner would voice his frustrations in a vicious tirade.
Broner felt under appreciated and did not agree that himself and Figueroa Jr. should be in a virtual press conference. Broner wanted a proper press conference, and would use the fact that they would never make Floyd Mayweather do a virtual conference before going on to make his frustrations known by going on to say: “I ain’t with none of this shit that they got going on. I feel like Al Haymon and Stephen Espinoza is bull***ttin’ because why is we doing a press conference on a computer? They don’t do Floyd’s s**t on the computer when he fight a YouTuber. They don’t do nobody else s**t on a computer but they want to do my shit on a computer, so that telling me they don’t give a f**k about me. So when you say it’s f**k me, it’s f**k ya’ll.
“Anybody can see it. At this point ya’ll bull***ttin’. Ya’ll been supposed to make this fight. Ya’ll given us dates, you keep pushing our date back. Like, come on, who the fuck do a six-month camp? Ya’ll trippin’. So what I’ma do...I’ma get the f**k up on outta here and go back to sleep ya’ll.”
Broner and Figueroa Jr. meet on August 20th in a must win bout for both, the fight takes place in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida and will be shown live on Showtime in the US.
