Gypsy King handed Deontay Wilder his first loss in 2020
It's been a whole year since Tyson Fury famously beat Deontay Wilder by knockout for the world Heavyweight title, a night that sparked an in house of feud of the highest profile in camp Wilder.
Since losing the title Wilder has claimed conspiracy, spiked water, weights in gloves and heavy suits, much of which has seen him recieve high level ridicule online. He's adamant though, and sticking to his story, firing team member Mark Breland who has since come out and defended himself, saying Wilder is "finished".
There was animosoty towards Jay Deas as well, also part of Team Wilder. A debunked theory that Tyson had weights in his gloves was proven false as Deas was pictured watching Fury's gloves and hand wrapping, meaning he would have had to intentionally ignore the situation.
Wilder has since gone on to claim that he 'definitely knocked Fury out' in their first fight. The infamous draw was almost waved off in the final round as a thunderous hand from Wilder put Fury to the canvas, a shot that has finished off every former opponent and looked to have done the job again.
Somehow Fury rose and continued to outbox Wilder, who now claims he was given too long to recover.
Fans are now clamouring to see a fight between Wilder and other former World Champ Andy Ruiz Jr, who famously beat - then lost - to Anthony Joshua. Surely only a trilogy fight with Fury or a top level name is next for Wilder.
