As we all know Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao waited far too long to fight the first time around, do we really need to see a sequel to a fight that failed to live up to expectations the first time around? Probably not, but that doesn't mean you won't see it, this is boxing where money talks the loudest.

Had the first fight happened in 2009/10 as I believe it should have, we may well have been treated to a trilogy for the ages. Manny was far more aggressive and fresh in those days but he lost a step by the time he boxed Floyd his style was all about fast twitch movements which always dim with age.

We ended up with a chess match type fight when it eventually happened which we all know would favour a master boxer like Floyd.

Would the outcome be any different if they do fight again? Maybe, as Manny has been active in competition, where as Floyd has had 2 high-class exhibition fights in 4 years. This might give Manny a slight edge but knowing Floyd if he even felt like that was the case there will be no fight, I hope he stays retired, legacy secure and that Manny retires very soon too, as it's a young mans sport and I'd hate to see either of them get damaged for fighting on too long, however as previously stated MONEY talks.
