Some betting fights have actually opened a market on a fight between the pair, slating Hearn as a 1/3 favourite. Hearn joked about a potential purse split between the pair if the fight actually happened, suggesting he should get $10 million and Ellerbe should only get $500k. This sparked Ellerbe to respond agressively: "LOOK BITCH STOP PLAYING WITH ME. I’M NOT GOING TO PLAY THESE KID GAMES WITH YOU, ITS FUN AND GAMES TO YOU UNTIL SHIT GET REAL!!!"
The rivalry between the pair arose when Hearn kept mentioning in interviews that Mayweather Promotions' biggest draw Gervonta Davis was becoming a free agent following his fight last month with Rolando Romero. Hearn poked jibes at the CEO of the promotional banner, claiming he would 'break the bank' to sign Davis, just to see Ellerbe's reaction. Hearn even confirmed he had received a legal letter asking him to stop talking about Davis the way he does. Hearn performed his own rendition of Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine for IntuBoxing, as he continued to wind Ellerbe up.

It's safe to say Hearn has pushed Ellerbe's buttons, and the crux of the argument, Gervonta Davis, is yet to comment on his future. Has Hearn taken it too far this time or is he within his rights to express his interest of Signing Davis? Also, who would you pick as a winner if a fight between these two actually happened?
