Is this the final hurdle before Joshua Fury?
This evening reports have suggested that the heavyweight title contest between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev is due to take place on December 12th. Joshua will be defending his IBO, WBA, WBO and IBF titles, and a venue is yet to be announced.

Joshua reclaimed his titles in December 2019, by way of unanimous decision against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia, after being stopped by Ruiz Jr six months earlier.
Kubrat Pulev has also only tasted defeat once in his career and, that was his only world title challenge to date against Wladimir Klitschko which ended by knockout in the fifth round, back in 2014.
Kubrat Pulev is one tough fighter and at 39 deserves his chance again at the world titles after being around the top 10 for majority of his career.
But, in my opinion he has been very unlucky with the level of the world champions, as Klitschko was the world's best and now he goes up against Joshua who is also considered in the top 3 heavyweights in the world.
In my opinion it will be déjà vu for Pulev, and Joshua will stop him midway through the contest, from rounds 5 to round 8. Pulev will be up for the challenge and will know the world will write him off, but a fighter with nothing to lose is a dangerous fighter.
Joshua knockout round 5 to 8, I will say round 7.
