LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT JAMAL LE DOUX ANNOUNCES TITLE FIGHT FOR 2019

After a long wait, amateur gold medalist Jamal Le Doux, currently sitting at 5-1 in his professional career, has been given the oppurtunity for a Midlands Title Fight on March 30th at Kings Hall in Stoke-on-Trent in a 10 round bout against Corey Jackson.

Jackson, aged 31, whose record currently stands at 7-2-0 with 3 knockouts, means business and the two will no doubt put on a very good fight.

Le Doux, who trains at Scott Lawton's Impact Gym, has won the Midlands Championship twice as a senior, as well as a gold medal at the Viking Cup in Denmark and the Midlands belt in 2013, which he defended successfully three times. He has also sparred world champions such as Liam "Beefy" Smith.

After suffering a decision loss against Adam Jones in 2018, he took the knock and bounced back strong with two consecutive wins on points to get himself ready for the title shot and doesn't feel the loss has hindered him in any way.
