Good afternoon fight-fans. Here is a lowdown of all today's boxing news and gossip.

Following his defeat to Josh Warrington in a bout that saw his reign as Britains longest reigning champion end, Lee Selby has announced that it was indeed a step too far to make it down to the 126-pound limit and he intends to move up to 130 pounds for his next fight.

The World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight final is rumoured to take place on July 21st. WBC & WBO champion, Oleksandr Usyk and WBA 'Super' & IBF champion, Murat Gassiev will likely meet in Russia with Sochi thought to be the desired location.

Middleweight king, Gennady Golovkin's promoter Tom Loeffler is due to fly out to meet the IBF in person to discuss his charge's mandatory situation. The board has mandated that he fight #1 challenger, Sergey Derevyanchenko by 03/08.

As reported by IntuBoxing earlier today, Regis Prograis will enter the junior-welterweight edition of this year's World Boxing Super Series.

Liam Smith will challenge new WBO super-welterweight champion, Jaime Munguia on either July 21st or 28th in California

And finally, the sage between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder rumbles on. IntuBoxing had reported last week that it was likely any proposed bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world would take place in America. However, Joshua has confirmed he intends to ensure the fight is in the UK. Joshua as said he feels he 'owes it' to the UK fans and wants to avoid 'any tricks' that he may face as an away fighter. This situation needs to be resolved quickly as Joshua's mandatory obligations to finalise a deal with Alexander Povetkin are drawing near.

As always as soon as IntuBoxing learn anything, we will be sure to let you know.
